  1. Hey man, cool site. My names Zach I live in Rota about an hour north of you. I climb down in San Bartolo every weekend I can find a partner. What guide did you get that bouldering in San Bartolo from? I have David Munilla’s guides “Andalucia” and “Escalar en Cadiz” and neither include any bouldering. They are also pretty terrible for the trad climbing portions with their cartoon drawings.

If you ever want to climb let me know I am always looking for a partner. I like trad, bouldering and some sport.

Also would you be wiling to give me directions to the climbing area in Bolonia. There seems to be really good bouldering there as well.

Thanks! Looking forward to hearing back.

  2. Hi Zach, there are no guides for the bouldering. There are some of the original guides and some of my descriptions for around san bartolo here,

The other main bouldering area is in El Helechal in Bolonia, which is past the roman ruins and then follow the signs.

  3. He Journo,
I’ve just moved here and your site appears the best resource for bouldering that i’ve found. Are you still eager for the bouldering? If so would you fancy giving a keen youth a bit of a tour one weekend? Also i drive passed the Alcaidesa boulders everyday but haven’t checked them out yet – you mention a guy called James – do you have a contact for him please?
    Thanks a lot
    Cheers
    Mike
